Know how to look after yourself and your team in the area of First Aid. Senior Cadets will have the chance to obtain a recognised first aid qualification. Air Cadets is for both boys and girls aged 13 to 18. It is a voluntary, disciplined, uniformed youth leadership training organisation. Read more about us here.
Aviation studies
Understand aircraft technology, the theory of flight and have the chance to go flying. At 4 Squadron, we are heavily focused on flying and aviation, with Cadets getting the opportunity to fly gliders, aeroplanes and helicopters (plus the use of our state of the art flight simulators) Bushcraft Become skilled and comfortable in a bush environment. We run several outdoor camps a year, each providing new and exciting activities. Radio procedures
Gain and practice correct military procedures when using radios. Citizenship training Acquire status from serving others. Recreational training Achieve skills in a wide range of recreational activities. These have included such activities as tramping, abseiling, gliding, and rock climbing. |
